    1. I am not sure at the moment, but I feel the "subscribe to" box is the best bet. I will experiment with it and get back to you. Also, I visited your blog and couldn't find where I could post a post.

  2. Hey guys! Nice to see you trying this out already. You can post 'comments' to each other, but you 'post' to your own blog. We'll talk more in class about it...

  3. -----Week 2 Post-----
Inspired about the video from class last night I did a little research on what television shows that use flash and found out that South Park uses flash program to make their shows. Also, Melanie I liked the post you posted in the discussion about Simpsons. I knew that they used flash, but didn't most of the show was created in Seoul, Korea, which is the capitol of south Korea. You and Shawn didn't know about me, is that I listen to their music. Any who, I've tried to import some of my first files of line art of sketches in illustrator, and found out that I need more separate graphics than I have now. So I had to restart already. On another note, I thought I had a good grasp about the fps concept, but how many frames do we need for this project, and how do we calculate it also.

    1. Do you happen to remember a link to the video you guys watched in class?

    2. I only remember one video we watched, but it was an example of using sketches to flash, but professionally done and no I don't have the link, it wouldn't help anyways since they don't show how they used flash to do it.

    3. Hi Raven. First of all, in response to your confusion regarding how many frames we need for this week's project, I'm assuming it is 360 frames. The client wants us to create a banner at 620 x 320 pixels that runs at 24 fps for 15 seconds. So I just multiplied the two and ended up with 360 frames. Now, if it is more complicated than that, my assignment will not get a good grade, lol.

Interesting to hear about the music you listen to, you'll have to tell me more about it. Also interesting...I remember you saying you are really into anime. I told my youngest daughter about what you said and she really wants me to find out some more information. She LOVES drawing anime and is what she fills up most of her spare time doing. I'm sure she would like to share information about it with you and see some of your work, along with sharing her work with you to get your opinion.

  4. Hey Raven, Interesting taste in music. Thats great.. I was almost stationed in Korea but ended up being sent somewhere else. Melanie is right you take the frame rate x number of seconds to get total number of frames. I hope your sketches are coming together now. I had to make mine as simple as possible. Staying within my ability and what my mind wants is two different things.
